“Sex and the City” maker Darren Star has uncovered he needed Alec Baldwin to play Mr Big in the arrangement.
The essayist/executive felt beyond any doubt Baldwin was the ideal decision to play Carrie Bradshaw’s affection interest – until he met Chris Noth, reported Entertainment Weekly.
“I was considering Alec Baldwin for Big at first however I met with Chris Noth and thought he was great. I recollect the principal table read, how great he was. I’m not saying that Chris was Mr Big, but rather he brought his very own considerable measure persona to the part,” Star said.
Furthermore, Star says he wasn’t at first sold on John Corbett as Carrie’s other adoration interest, Aidan Shaw.
