Pakistan’s Best singer-actor, Ali Zafar, sings sufferers and heirs of the Peshawar incident
About 150 individuals, mostly kids, were murdered when intensely equipped Taliban gunmen went on the Quinton Jackson at the Military Community School in Peshawar on 16 Dec.
The slaughter triggered an in-depth feeling of sadness and shock in Pakistan and across the globe.
“For me, it took a while to drain in that something like this could occur,” says Ali Zafar. “As a mother or father, I experienced upset and embarrassed. I can’t think about the discomfort and distress of the family members of those kids.”
For a few several weeks after the strike, Ali fought to shift on. Activities, along with a show in Southern African-American on New Seasons Eve, were terminated because, as he places it: “I just could not carry myself to go through with it.”
