Bollywood sequels to look forward to
Bollywood diva Sridevi announced her return to the big screen with the critically acclaimed film ‘English Vinglish’. The film directed by Gauri Shinde saw the beauty play the role of a homemaker who was subjected to ridicule because of her inability to converse in English. If online reports are anything to go by, then the actress is allegedly in talks to star in a sequel to the film.
According to reports, Sridevi and Gauri were expected to come together for a woman-centric, light-hearted flick after the actress shared a picture from their recent meet up with the caption, “Coming soon.”
However, as the story was not fully developed, they played around with the idea of making a sequel to the 2012 hit. The lovely ladies had always maintained through the years that they became good friends on the sets and would love to work together again. Rumour has it that their next film together will be the sequel to ‘English Vinglish’, that is expected to go on floors early next year.
Sridevi is also said to be making a cameo in daughter Janhvi Kapoor’s debut ‘Dhadak’, co-starring Ishaan Khatter.
The wait for Karan Johar's much-awaited sequel to the 2012 college drama 'Student of the Year' is finally over! The director recently unveiled the first look of the upcoming film 'Student of the Year 2' featuring Tiger Shroff on Twitter.
He captioned the poster, "The FRANCHISE continues!!!! The college opens its doors to a new Student!
Tiger Shroff, who is currently busy, prepping up for 'Baaghi 2' opposite rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani, will, soon be marching towards Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year 2'.
Tiger recently divulged details about doing 'SOTY 2', which is slated to release early next year.
According to reports, Tiger revealed that 'SOTY 2' is the only film he's confirmed dates for as of now. He also added that the 'Rambo' shoot will kick off towards the end of next year. And before that, he will commence shooting for his film with Hrithik Roshan.
While SOTY was a love triangle set on a college campus, the second one allegedly won't have another leading man, making it a solo-hero film.
Reports suggest that Tiger's alleged girlfriend Disha and Chunkey Panday's daughter Ananya Panday have been roped in to play the female leads in 'Student of the Year 2'.
