Bollywood mourns terrible loss of life of Amjad Sabri



KARACHI: The Qawwali genius is gone, forgetting a heritage of Sufi songs. It’s not just Pakistan grieving the eliminating of Amjad Sabri, but condemnations are also flowing in from showbiz individualities from across the boundary.

One of Pakistan’s best known Sufi artists was taken deceased by unidentified attackers driving a bike in Karachi on Wed mid-day, leading to an outpouring of sadness over what cops described as an “act of terror”.

Amjad Sabri, older around 45, was traveling by car from his home to a tv studio room, when a motorbike opened up plus the automobile and the attackers started out flame, eliminating him immediately.

Scores of Bollywood figures tweeted their grief after the tragic death of Sabri and said the passing of artiste was loss to the world.

Actress Alia Bhatt told Press Trust of India: “It’s very unfortunate, heartbreaking and sad that something like this has happened to an artiste.”
