Bollywood has pulled off a surprise just when we thought 2015 was all about Salman ‘Bhaijaan’ Khan and SRK: Defying all odds, and even less-than-flattering reviews from critics, director Vishal Pandya’s Hate Story 3 is minting money at the box office.
In the first three days since its release on Friday, the film collected Rs 26.82 crore. Made at an approximate budget of Rs 13 crore, analysts say that if the film continues its impressive streak on the ticket windows, it may well cross the Rs 50 crore mark in the first 10 days. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film’s business.
Hate Story 3 is the story of two rival businessmen who have vowed to destroy each other’s empire. The tussle gets nastier when one of them makes an ‘indecent proposal’ involving the other’s wife.
Hate Story 3, like its predecessors, rides on liberal skin show, courtesy the two heroines of the film, Zarine Khan and Daisy Shah. Sharman Joshi and Karan Singh Grover play two businessmen baying for each other’s blood in the film. Hate Story 3 doesn’t boast of any innovative plotline, but fast-paced editing keeps the viewers hooked on to it.
