Actor Saqib Saleem is kicked about his next film, an adaptation of Hollywood horror movie Oculus, which will see him sharing a tumultuous onscreen relationship with sister Huma Qureshi.
The brother-sister duo is working together in a Bollywood movie for the first time in the Prawaal Raman-directed movie.
The yet-untitled movie, like the original, focuses on the story of a brother-sister, who get separated at a young age due to an antique mirror.
“I am very excited for Oculus because it is the first time Huma and I will be working together. We keep talking about the movie all the time, have similar likings and finally we are coming together. Our relationship, however, is not a typical one in the film.
We share an awkward sibling relationship, totally different from how we are in real life. In the film our characters detest each other, even though there is a lot of love between the two. The relationship is intense and aggressive,” Saqib told PTI.
The 26-year-old Mere Dad Ki Maruti actor will play the younger sibling, who is sent to a juvenile home and spends 12 years there.
