The loaded-with-masala flick Dishoom has been getting positive responses!
The film was supposed to be released worldwide yesterday but hasn’t been released in Pakistan yet. Could it be that this John Abraham and Varun Dhawan starrer is getting banned here?
Varun Dhawan certainly thinks so! The Dilwale actor tweeted about his disappointment over the film being banned in Pakistan.
Really upset that #Dishoom is banned in pakistan. I don't think the film eventually shows any country in a bad light. It's a wrong decision

According to Indian Express, Varun has pointed out that Dishoom has nothing against Pakistan. Earlier the actor had said “It is a very positive representation. In fact, what we are trying to show is that for certain people money is their religion. It’s not being an Indian, Pakistani, Hindu, Muslim or Christian. In the capitalistic world that we live in, money is the biggest driving force for most crimes.”
However, a representative of the censor board had a word with Images and clarified that Dishoom has not been banned… yet. “It was supposed to be released yesterday, we are just holding off the release for now. The situation is uncertain but we haven’t initiated a ban as of yet.”
Dishoom shows the two leads attempting to kidnap an Indian cricketer before an India-Pakistan cricket match.
