Lauren Bacall’s Personal Items Up For Auction

A collection of art furniture and jewelry that once belonged to late actress Lauren Bacall is heading to the auction block and is expected to raise $3 million.

The Mirror Has Two Faces icon died in August 2014 at the age of 89 and now her estate executors are planning to sell off a number of her personal items from her homes in Los Angeles and New York. Two Henry Moore sculptures will be sold by experts at Bonhams New York during their Impressionist and Modern Art Sale next month while six other Moore pieces collected by Bacall will go under the hammer in March 2015 alongside other artworks by masters including Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro and Alexander Calder.
