Parineeti Chopra to wrestle in ‘Sultan’
If media reports are to be believed then the lead lady forSultan has finally been picked. The movie will be produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films and has Bollywood tiger Salman Khan in the male lead.
According to DNA , Parineeti is going through intense training to physically bulk up for her role in Sultan. She will be playing a wrestler.
“Parineeti is now training hard to perfect the nuances of the character and also look like a wrestler,” according to a source.
Known for taking up only strong roles, Parineeti is said to have agreed to do the movie because she found it challenging. The source said, “Like Salman, the leading heroine is also a wrestler in the film. Sultan is not about glorifying Salman. So it was not too difficult to get Parineeti to say yes.”
Before Parineeti, it was reported that Kangana Ranaut was signed for the role. Kangana confirmed the news but also said she had to back out due to prior commitments.
Whereas, sources also say that Aditya Chopra of YRF was upset with Kangana talking about the film so he called Parineeti and took her on board in Kanagana’s stead. And Pari wouldn’t refuse her mentor.
Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma were taken under consideration to co-star with Bollywood’s tiger Salman Khan.
The lead actor Salman will be playing the role of a 40-year-old boxer. He will have to go through rigorous workout sessions and follow a strict diet to change his entire physique and body language.
According to theindiantimes.com, Sultan will be a sports centric movie. Salman Khan is really excited about this project. It did not come as a surprise because we all know how interested Salman is in sports.
