Santosh Kumar was a legendary film hero who dominated Urdu movies in the 1950s. His first film was Beli in 1950 and he got breakthrough from his second film 2 Aansoo same year. Chann Way (1951), Ghulam, Shehri Babu, Gulnar (1953), Qatil, Pattan, Inteqam(1955), Lakht-e-Jiggar, Qismat, Intezar (1956), Ishq-e-Laila, Waada, Saat lakh,Bedari (1957), Mukhra, Hasrat (1958), Naji (1959), Mousiqar (1962), Daaman (1963),Chingari, Haveli (1964), Naila, Kaneez (1965), Sawal, Hamrahi, Lori (1966), Devar Bhabhi (1967), Anjuman (1970) etc. were some of his big movies.
Santosh Kumar, real name Syed Musa Raza, was born on December 25, 1926 and died on June 11, 1982 in Lahore. He was graduate from Usmania Universaty Hyederbad, Deccan and appeared in two Indian movies, Ahinsa (1947) and Meri Kahani (1949). He was married to Sabiha Khanum and his other brothers Darpan, S. Suleman and Mansoorwere also in the same filed.
