Shahid Kapoor and Madhu Mantena have always been on good terms with each other. Such was their friendship that their respective wives, Mira Rajput and Masaba Gupta became besties too. However, looks like Shahid has had an ugly fallout with Madhu and they are no longer on talking terms! The first cracks in their friendship had appeared when they had a public fight over Vikas Bahl’s Shaandaar, which was produced by Madhu’s production company, Phantom Films. While they had patched up and the actor had signed Udta Punjab through Madhu’s company, looks like things have gone kaput between these longtime buddies.
Apparently, things started turning sour when the actor parted ways with talent management agency, CAA Kwan, which Madhu is an integral part of. This did not go down well with his producer friend and things turned awry. Madhu even spoke to Mumbai Mirror about the fallout, but he didn’t wish to confirm or deny the reports. However, a source revealed to the tabloid, “As of now, the two of them do not even speak to each other.” A common friend also confirmed this but added that the two former buddies are making an effort to rekindle their friendship. When the tabloid contacted Shahid to ask about the fight, the actor retorted, “It’s a personal matter.” He did confirm that he was not with the Kwan anymore, but also added, “I want to clarify that there’s no bad blood between Madhu and me at all.”
