Embattled actor Stephen Collins has filed new legal papers against his wife Faye Grant to make changes to their divorce proceedings following recent molestation allegations.
The former 7th Heaven star hit headlines earlier this month when he was caught on tape appearing to confess to molesting young girls. The recording was allegedly made during a therapy session in 2012 without his knowledge.
Collins and his estranged wife actress Grant have been locked in a war of words since the audio's release and he has now filed legal papers claiming he has no earnings to battle over in their divorce proceedings because he cannot get any work in the wake of the allegations.
The actor's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan tells, "Faye's decision to parade that recording... has resulted in Stephen having no income other than investment income and pension income... Stephen suffers greatly from the pillaring by the media surrounding Faye's unlawful recording."
Grant filed for divorce in 2012 after 27 years of marriage. Police are still investigating the claims.
