Versatile Indian actor Vidya Balan has disclosed that she has received a ‘couple of’ offers to work in Pakistani films.
This was said during an interview to Indian news agency IANS:
“I have lately got a couple of offers. It really depends on the script. I’ve seen the Pakistani film Bol and I loved it. I haven’t watched Khamosh Pani yet but I know it’s a very good film. I’m open to work anywhere in the world.”
The National Award winning actress who has previously expressed her love for Pakistani drama serials and is said to be exploring regional cinema has not confirmed whether she has accepted the offers.
“I’ve not yet had the meeting with them. I’ve got a couple of calls. They want to come and narrate the story.”
Vidya Balan is currently promoting her upcoming film Te3N which she plays the lead the lead role alongside Amitabh Bachan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is slated to release on 10th June.
She also praised Zindagi channel which airs Pakistani dramas and other serials in India saying that she loves the content shown on it.
