A case has been filed against Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. According to Indian media the case was registered in Bharatpur Rajasthan against a famous car brand for technical faults and both actors were also named in it.
The case was filed by a local lawyer Kirti Singh who bought a car in 2022 for 23.97 lakh Indian rupees. He said that after a few months the car showed serious technical issues which could cause accidents.
The lawyer said the dealership confirmed that the problem was a manufacturing fault and it could not be fixed.
In the FIR it was stated that the decision to buy the car was influenced by the ads of Shah Rukh and Deepika where the car was shown as completely trouble free.
Police said the case has been registered and investigation has started.
