Abida Baig appeals to Punjab Chief Minister for help

Senior Pakistani actress Abida Baig has appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for help. In a viral clip on social media, the senior actress can be seen crying and appealing to the Punjab Chief Minister for help.

The senior actress, who rose to fame for her role as Chandi in the classic drama ‘Sona Chandi’, can be seen and heard appealing in extreme distress in the viral video.

She said that I am Abida Baig who served the art for 35 years, my husband, late husband Mirza Rashid Akhtar, worked in this industry for 40 years, there was a dead body lying in our house, so we used to go to the show, but at that time I am very worried.

She said that a lot of injustice has been done to me, the roof of my house has been taken away from me, I have 2 children and grandchildren, we do not have enough income to live in a rented house, I appeal to the Chief Minister of Punjab and the Minister of Information, Prime Minister Bukhari to listen to me and give me a chance to meet.

Abida Baig appealed to the Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz for help, saying that my total asset was my house for which I should be helped.

She said that the Chief Minister of Punjab says that women are my red line, so please, I am an artist of this Pakistan and I have worked very hard, for the sake of Allah, support me and help me.
