Famous Bollywood actor Dheeraj Kumar passed away at the age of 79. Dheeraj Kumar was well-known for his acting skills. He worked in many films during his career, and his roles are still remembered today. Some of the popular films in his credit include Roti Kapda Aur Makaan and Sargam.
For the past few days, the actor was fighting for his life in the ICU of a Mumbai hospital. According to reports, he was diagnosed with pneumonia and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
On Monday, his family shared a statement mentioning his serious condition and said that he was also having major trouble breathing.
Later, as his condition got worse, Dheeraj Kumar was taken to the hospital. Doctors shifted him to the ICU and put him on a ventilator. But even with treatment, he could not survive and passed away at the age of 79.
According to reports, Dheeraj Kumar’s last rites will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, 16 July, in Punjab.
It is said that in recent years, Dheeraj was rarely seen at public events. He was last seen at the opening ceremony of a temple in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

He also started his own TV production house called Creative Eye Limited and worked as a producer for many dramas. His last drama was Ishq Subhan Allah.
