Senior Pakistani actor Mohsin Gillani, while speaking on a private TV morning show, explained the real reason behind the conflicts between mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law.
He said that many mothers rush to get their sons married, and when the daughter-in-law enters the house, the mother feels like her son has been taken away from her. On the other hand, the girl’s mother often advises her daughter to try and live separately after marriage, and this thinking creates problems.
Mohsin Gillani added that when a husband gives time to his wife, the mother-in-law feels that her son is drifting away from her. These attitudes and thoughts create tension in the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.
