Leading young Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has strongly reacted to senior singer Shazia Manzoor’s recent statement, accusing her of dishonesty. Alizeh Shah has said that just being a senior does not mean that a person is honest, knowledgeable or dignified.
In her Instagram story, she wrote that expecting sincerity just because someone is a senior is like banging your head against a wall. Seniority does not guarantee wisdom, dignity or honesty. The most disappointing thing is to see seniors repeatedly staying relevant through controversies instead of their work.
Alizeh Shah further wrote, “Shazia Manzoor, I sincerely hope that your work goes viral because of your music and talent, and not because of repeatedly belittling models and actors on morning shows. True value never needs to be proven by belittling others.”
It should be noted that the dispute between Alizeh Shah and Shazia Manzoor came to light in December 2021 when Alizeh Shah fell while performing on the ramp during a show. After this incident, the differences between the two personalities became a topic of discussion on social media.
Alizeh Shah had alleged that her fall on stage during the bridal fashion show was not a coincidence, but that Shazia Manzoor allegedly grabbed her repeatedly and pushed her deliberately, causing her to lose her balance.
Shazia Manzoor, while calling the allegations baseless, said that she did not push Alizeh Shah in any way, she could not maintain her balance and slipped on the stage.
