Pakistan’s famous model and television actress Hina Afridi has broken her silence on the demands made during her marriage and the trolling on social media.
The actress, who gained fame from several hit dramas in Pakistan, who is currently in the news for her performance in the drama serial ‘Ghulam Badshah Sundri’, recently participated in a private TV show.
Hina Afridi, whose videos of her wedding to Taimur Akbar on January 16 this year were going viral on social media, while talking about the trolling, said that she did not pay any attention to those who criticized her marriage jewelry. She said that criticism is the problem of people, not mine, I did not have time to read these things.
Talking about the demands made during the marriage, Hina Afridi took a categorical stand that it is the Sharia and legal right of every girl to demand what she wants from her husband.
He revealed that people do not know what demands I made from them in private, which they fulfilled. Every girl should be aware of her rights and should not compromise on anything less in life.
During the show, Hina Afridi mentioned an interesting and strict marriage tradition among Peshawar and Pashtun tribes, saying that according to our relatives, one tradition is that when the procession arrives, the girl’s husband opens fire at the groom’s feet. If the groom runs away in fear, the marriage is canceled. She said that this tradition has been prevalent in some parts of Peshawar to test the groom’s bravery.
It should be remembered that Hina Afridi’s wedding ceremonies, especially the videos of Nikah and Dholki, were trending on social media for several days.
