Dr. Umar Adil recently made some harsh comments about film star Resham, which led Resham to respond strongly against him on Ahmad Ali Butt’s podcast.
Now, in a recent vlog, Dr. Umar Adil has apologized to Resham and said he wants to end their conflict. He shared that some of their mutual friends and well-wishers advised him that such disputes should not happen on television.
He said, Resham, let’s forgive each other and start a new friendship. Let’s begin a fresh chapter and let those people burn with jealousy who don’t like to see us having a strong bond. Life is already very hard, so let’s fix these issues. I will wait for your reply.
He also said that he is very thankful to Resham and that she supported him morally during a tough time. He asked her again to restart their relationship and become like the brother and sister they once were. He added that fights happen, and he prays for both of them. He hopes that God fills her heart with the same love, respect, and kindness that he feels for her.
It is important to mention that during a recent podcast, Dr. Umar Adil had used harsh words for both actress Resham and actor Ahmad Ali Butt. He said that if you open a perfume bottle, the air becomes fragrant, but if you open a gutter lid, there is a bad smell and suffocation.
He further said that he neither loves nor hates her, because those feelings are for important people. He claimed he doesn’t even know her personally. He added that he feels pity for her because she is at an age where she has lost everything — her admirers, her career, and her fame.
It’s worth noting that Dr. Umar Adil has been involved in several controversies before. Last year, after being arrested by Punjab Police, he also offered an unconditional apology to journalist Gharidah Farooqi.
