The director of the recent Bollywood hit film Sayara, Mohit Suri, made an interesting revelation and shared that Ahaan Panday used to post cheap and cringe-worthy videos on TikTok, which he later deleted.
Ahaan Panday, the lead actor of Sayara, has become a hot topic in film circles. The movie, which was released on July 18, not only became a big success at the box office but also turned Ahaan into an overnight superstar.
Before the film’s release, Yash Raj Films had a strategy to keep Ahaan away from promotional events. In an interview, director Mohit Suri said that if you see Ahaan’s old videos, you’ll be shocked. He was a full-on flashy TikToker, like a typical rowdy guy. But this side of him was not shown in the film Sayara because it wasn’t needed.
Talking about the film’s lead actress Anit Pada, the director said she has an amazing sense of humor. He shared a funny incident and said that a few days ago, Anit did an impression of her mother on a video call. Her mom was scolding her for not wearing a mask, and it made him laugh like crazy.
Mohit Suri praised both Ahaan and Anit, saying they are much better than many other newcomers he has worked with in the past. It’s worth mentioning that Mohit Suri has also made successful films with big stars like Emraan Hashmi, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Shraddha Kapoor.
