Actress and host Anoushey Ashraf shared an interesting story about her marriage on the show Good Morning Pakistan.
Her wedding celebrations began in April in Türkiye, and the pictures and videos from the events went viral on social media.
Last year on June 30, Anoushey had her nikkah with her friend Shahab in the presence of close family members.
Now, in the show Good Morning Pakistan, she talked about how it all happened.
She shared that her husband lives in England. He had visited Pakistan during childhood, and they even have a photo together from that time. He now jokes that in the photo she was smiling and saying she would marry him one day.
Anoushey said that in 2020, before the lockdown, she had plans to visit the UK and took her mother with her. When they arrived, Shahab’s mother invited them for a meal. Shahab usually doesn’t live with his parents, but on that day, he happened to be there.
According to the actress, when Shahab saw her, he was surprised and asked if she was still unmarried. She told him she wasn’t married. Then they exchanged WhatsApp numbers and stayed in touch. When she visited again, they met, and later their marriage was decided.
She said that Shahab works in the real estate field and has studied chemistry. His father used to work in Riyadh and later moved to the UK.
