The court has announced its decision about the nationality of Arshad Chaiwala who became famous through social media
Arshad Chaiwala known for his beautiful eyes and looks has been confirmed as a Pakistani citizen not an Afghan
The Rawalpindi High Court bench accepted Arshad Khan’s petition and declared that he is a Pakistani citizen The court stated that Arshad is not Afghan
The court also restored his ID card and passport Justice Jawad Hassan of the Rawalpindi High Court closed the case after the decision
NADRA also held a board meeting on Arshad’s petition and confirmed his Pakistani citizenship The report said his father’s documents proving Pakistani nationality were found correct
According to NADRA documents Arshad’s full name is Zar Khan son of Baz Muhammad Khan He was born in 1999 in Shah Allah Ditta Islamabad and got his early education from a government school in the same area
His father Baz Khan got a Pakistani passport in 1984 and went to Saudi Arabia for work in 1989 Arshad has been running a tea stall in Sunday Bazaar Islamabad since the age of 17
The documents show Arshad got his NADRA ID card in 2017 and his passport in 2016 Both were issued after proper verification
The report also mentioned that Arshad’s worldwide fame through social media helped Pakistan earn foreign exchange He has never been to Afghanistan and never held any Afghan ID or passport
Arshad’s lawyer said that after getting back his ID card and passport Arshad will restart his tea business at Sunday Bazaar in Islamabad
