Asia Cup schedule announced when is the Pakistan-India clash

Asia Cup 2025 has been moved from India to the United Arab Emirates and the schedule has also been announced. President of the Asian Cricket Council Mohsin Naqvi shared the match schedule of the Asian event on social media platform X and said that the matches of Asia Cup 2025 will be played in the UAE from 9th September to 28th September.

A total of 8 teams will participate in the Asia Cup 2025, and all matches will be played in the United Arab Emirates.

Pakistan, India, UAE, and Oman are placed in Group A, while Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong are in Group B.

The first match of the Asia Cup will be played on 9th September between Afghanistan and Hong Kong.

Pakistan will play its first match on 12th September against Oman. The highly anticipated Pakistan vs India group match will take place on 14th September, while Pakistan’s third match will be against the UAE on 17th September.

The Super Four stage of the Asia Cup will begin on 20th September. On that day, B1 will face B2, and on 21st September, A1 will face A2.

There is a possibility of a second Pakistan vs India match on 21st September, but it will only happen if both teams qualify for the Super Four stage.

Earlier today, PCB Chairman and President of the Asian Cricket Council, Mohsin Naqvi, confirmed the schedule on platform X (Twitter) and expressed his happiness over the tournament being held in the UAE.

He had said that this prestigious tournament will be held from 9th September to 28th September and we are looking forward to some exciting cricket matches. The detailed schedule of the tournament will be released soon.

It is worth mentioning that Asia Cup 2025 was originally set to be hosted by India. The participating teams will be Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Hong Kong, and Oman.
