Pakistani actress Asma Abbas has had her WhatsApp account hacked and is now facing difficulties. In a video message shared on social media Asma Abbas said she received a call where she was told that her parcel had arrived. She was asked to share a code that was sent to her on WhatsApp.
She explained that when she gave the code on the call her WhatsApp account was hacked. She said her daughter Zara had sent her a parcel and she was waiting for it. Because of the recent rains she thought the parcel had been delayed and that it had now arrived so she shared the code.
Asma Abbas’s sister and senior actress Bushra Ansari also shared a screenshot of messages sent from Asma’s hacked WhatsApp account. In those messages a request was made to borrow ten million rupees from someone they know.
Asma Abbas said that her relatives and friends are receiving similar messages asking for money in her name. She requested everyone to stay alert and safe from such scams as these incidents are happening a lot these days.
