Australia revokes visa of anti-Islam Israeli influencer

The Australian government has revoked the visa of a prominent Israeli social media influencer, Sami Jud. According to a global news agency, Australian Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke said that he would not allow hate speech to enter the country.

He added that the visas of those who want to come to spread hatred, bigotry and social division will be revoked.

The Israeli-born Sami Jud had described Islam as a hateful ideology in several of his hateful posts on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter).

The Israeli influencer had also falsely propagated that Islam does not recognize the rights of non-Muslims, apostates, women, children and homosexuals.

His posts expressed hateful views about Islam and Muslims, and many people even adopted a threatening tone to incite feelings against Muslims.

The Israeli influencer confirmed the visa cancellation, saying that his visa was canceled about three hours before the flight was scheduled to depart.

He arrived in Abu Dhabi from Israel but was not allowed to board his next flight to Melbourne.

To which Sami Yehud took to social media to describe the Australian government’s decision as tyranny, censorship and control, and said that he would take legal action against the decision.

The Australian Jewish Association also came out in support of the Israeli influencer and accused the government of unfairly targeting Jewish guests, raising concerns about religious freedom.
