Authorities recover key data from Humaira Asghar’s phones tablet and laptop

Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar was found dead in her flat in DHA Phase 6, Karachi. Police have now made major progress in the case by recovering important data from her electronic devices.

SSP South Mehzor Ali formed a six-member special team under SP Clifton Imran Ali Jagrani to investigate whether Humaira’s death was natural, accidental, suicide, or murder.

The team accessed her three mobile phones, a tablet, and a laptop. The passwords were found in her personal diary. Police are analyzing the data and chat history to find more clues. Two people have already recorded their statements.

The police also called for questioning the watchman, cleaning staff, and other relevant persons from her residential building. Since Humaira regularly visited a gym and beauty salon, her gym trainer and other contacts will also be questioned.

Police said Humaira was in frequent contact with some specific individuals. Details about these contacts are being collected. Her bank accounts are also being checked to trace any suspicious transactions.

So far, Humaira’s family has not contacted the police for any legal action.
