Bold Muslim Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi’s cousin was killed by Hindu youths over a minor parking issue. According to the entertainment website Bollywood Shaadis, Huma Qureshi’s cousin Asif Qureshi was living in a well-known area of Delhi, where the accused attacked and killed him outside his house after he asked them not to park in front of his gate.
Asif had requested the Hindu boys not to park their scooter in front of his door. This made them angry, and they attacked him.
Reports say that this was not the first time such tension had occurred. Asif had previously stopped the same boys from parking in front of his house, which led to arguments. But this time, the attackers used the parking issue as an excuse to kill him.
The two Hindu boys stabbed Asif Qureshi with knives and other sharp tools, seriously injuring him. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but died before reaching it.
Asif’s wife told the media that the Hindu youths had planned the murder and had given threats in the past as well. She demanded justice and called for the killers to be punished.
On the other hand, police have arrested the two Hindu suspects and started an investigation.
So far, Huma Qureshi has not given any statement on her cousin’s murder. However, the tragic incident has spread fear among Muslim actors in Bollywood.
This is not the first time something like this has happened. In January 2025, a Hindu attacker broke into Saif Ali Khan’s house and stabbed him. Other incidents have also occurred near the homes of Muslim stars like Salman Khan, including shootings and threats.
