Actor and singer Fawad Khan gave a vague response without taking Humaira Arshad’s name or mentioning Pakistan Idol. Recently the music launch of Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s upcoming romantic film Neelofar was held in Lahore.
Many videos from the event went viral on social media and one of them became especially popular.
In the viral video someone asked Fawad if he sang any song in the film. Fawad replied that he did not sing any song.
He laughed and added that he is not even allowed to sing in Pakistan.
Fawad praised the film’s music and said that it includes five songs composed by Zeeshan Waqi Haider. He said that his own singing is nothing compared to Zeeshan’s great talent.
A few days ago singer Humaira Arshad criticized Fawad Khan in a TV show for becoming a judge on Pakistan Idol. She said that people who have no connection with music should not be judges.
At present Fawad Khan is one of the judges of Pakistan Idol Season 2 along with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Bilal Maqsood and Zeb Bangash.
