Pakistani authorities have completely rejected the claims made by Indian media that actor Salman Khan has been added to Pakistan’s terrorist list.
Indian media reported that Salman Khan was included in Pakistan’s Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) Fourth Schedule. This claim was linked to his comments about Balochistan during the Joy Forum 2025 event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Indian outlets shared a fake government notification saying that Pakistan had declared Salman Khan a supporter of Free Balochistan and placed him on the Fourth Schedule. The document was said to be issued by the Balochistan Home Department on October 16 2025.
The Fourth Schedule is for people suspected of having links to terrorism. The fake notice labeled Salman Khan as a supporter of Free Balochistan but this phrase has never been used in any official Pakistani document.
Pakistani media reviewed the fake notice and found many errors. The serial number on the document was the same as one found on a verified notice shared earlier by a social media user named Shale Baloch.
The fake notice also had a wrong date. It mentioned October 16 while the Joy Forum took place on October 17 when Salman Khan was in Riyadh.
The document’s format font and layout were also different from real government notifications. The father’s name section did not match Pakistan’s record format. The term Free Balochistan supporter was never used in official papers.
There was also a spelling mistake in the word Balochistan on the letterhead and the ID number did not match Pakistan’s official ID pattern. The signature section looked digitally edited and matched the one from Shale Baloch’s shared document.
After checking with intelligence sources it was confirmed that no such notification was ever issued. The Balochistan Home Department called the document fake and denied Indian media’s claims.
A few days earlier Salman Khan attended the Joy Forum 2025 in Saudi Arabia along with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. During the event he talked about the global reach of Indian cinema and its growing popularity in the Middle East.
Salman Khan said that Bollywood Tamil Telugu and Malayalam films do well there because people from many countries work in the region.
He added that people from Balochistan Afghanistan and Pakistan also work there.
His words went viral on social media but Pakistani authorities did not issue any official response.
