Actor Hassan Ahmed has revealed that rumors are being spread about his religious beliefs due to his marriage to a Christian woman.
Hassan Ahmed recently gave an interview to ‘Something Hot’, where he spoke openly about his career and personal life.
The actor said that during his career, he was mostly offered negative roles, due to which he used to get bored in the beginning and many times he used to reject the offer due to the offer of the same type of role, but later he realized that the real thing is how well the work is done.
He said that it is not right to think that there is only ten days of work in the drama, because the real actor is the one who can give the best performance even in a short time and that is what he does now. The actor said that most of his dramas, in which he plays a negative role, are more popular, while the dramas with positive characters are less popular.
Hassan Ahmed also shed light on the rumors spread about his family.
According to him, some people say that since he married a Christian woman, he must have forgotten Islam, but he still practices Islam and regularly takes his children to the mosque, and their children also recite the Quran.
Hassan Ahmed said that the same rumors are also spread about his wife, although she also follows her religion.
The actor said that in the first ten years of marriage, when we were both trying to understand each other, if ever the thought of separating came to our hearts, we immediately put that thought out of our minds because of the children.
According to Hassan Ahmed, now there is so much understanding between the two of us that we can talk openly about anything that bothers us.
It should be noted that Hassan Ahmed and Sunita Marshall got married in 2008 and have two children.
The two are sometimes criticized for marrying despite belonging to different religions, Hassan Ahmed being a Muslim while Sunita Marshall is a Christian.
