Former Pakistani Member of the National Assembly, TV personality and actress Tooba Anwar, the ex-wife of the late Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, opened up about how she entered the showbiz industry.
Actress Tooba Anwar, who made her mark in the drama industry in a short period of time, first worked behind the scenes in the production department where she met the late Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain. This meeting soon turned into a marriage, which was fraught with controversy at the time.
After marriage, Tooba Anwar came on screen for the first time and soon became popular among the audience, however, her relationship with Dr. Aamir Liaquat could not last long and later the two got divorced.
After the divorce, Tooba Anwar has acted in several dramas, recently her performance in the drama serial Mehra was well liked by the audience.
Yesterday, the actress appeared as a guest on a private TV channel’s Ramadan transmission, where she told how she got into acting and how much hard work she had to put in for her first audition.
Tuba Anwar said that she never contacted any production house herself for acting, but a woman from Humayun Saeed’s production house urged her to audition.
She said that on the basis of this audition, I got the opportunity to act and since then I have been continuously working in various dramas.
The actress also said that I had not formally chosen acting, but all this happened automatically in my life.
