Important secret revealed in Wednesday Season 3

Netflix has finally solved the mystery surrounding the third season of Wednesday that has been haunting fans for the past year.

This time, the true identity of the mysterious member of the Addams Family, Aunt Ophelia, has been revealed, and surprisingly, the 45-year-old famous French actress Eva Green has been chosen for the role.

The first glimpse of Ophelia was only shown from behind in the dramatic finale of the second season of the series. This one scene had given rise to numerous theories among fans, some calling it a Lady Gaga character, some imagining a completely new villain, and some interpreting it as a major turning point in the history of the Addams Family.

But now Netflix’s confirmation announcement has put an end to all speculation, and it has become clear that Eva Green will be part of the main storyline of season 3 as Morticia Addams’ sister. The actress has previously proven her mettle with dark, mysterious, and magical roles in projects like Dark Shadows and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, so her selection is proving to be a pleasant but mysterious surprise for fans.

Ophelia is being added as a regular character in the new season, who is said to be a raven like her niece Wednesday (played by Gina Ortega), but who has become mentally disturbed due to overstepping her powers. That’s why her mother, Hester Frump, had her committed to a psychiatric hospital called Willow Hill.

But the real twist came when Ophelia escaped from the hospital, and her whereabouts remained a mystery for a long time after that. Until Wednesday found her diary, which showed him a terrifying vision of a woman with long golden hair wearing a crown of flowers.

The suspense was broken when the final scene of the second season revealed that Ophelia was imprisoned in Hester’s underground cellar. She was dressed in red, writing the phrase in blood on the wall:
“Wednesday must die.”

This big reveal from Netflix has raised expectations for season 3, on the one hand, and confirmed that the upcoming season will be much darker, more psychological and full of supernatural elements.

Fans are now eager to find out how this mystery from Ophelia’s past will affect Wednesday’s life, and whether the Addams family is once again going to face the biggest threat in its history.
