The tweet simply said, Anushka Sharma was bought by GG for Rs 45 lakh.

However, the reality was the opposite, the matter was actually related to the recent auction for the Indian league, which was held in Delhi.
The player who caught everyone’s attention during the auction was the rising cricketer from Madhya Pradesh, Anushka Sharma, whose name resembles the actress. The 22-year-old batter is known in the local circuit for her aggressive batting and off-spin bowling.
Anushka Sharma was priced at Rs 10 lakh, after which she was acquired by Gujarat Giants for Rs 45 lakh.
