Senior actress Bushra Ansari has revealed that she is Pakistan’s first rap singer. In the past, she released a full rap album in a boy’s voice, which became quite popular.
Ali Ansari recently appeared on the program 365 News where he talked openly about many topics.
He said that in the past, dramas used to be fun to work in. But now, women of their age are mostly given negative roles, and sometimes they feel like it’s better to take a break from acting.
According to him, earlier roles were not based on age. The characters used to be more unique and challenging, which made acting enjoyable. But now such roles are rarely written.
Bushra Ansari also shared that she loves singing. When her daughters were very young and rap music was becoming popular worldwide, she recorded a full rap album in a boy’s voice. She said she is Pakistan’s first female rap singer.
According to her, the album was quite successful and many people bought it. Bushra Ansari also said that these days she really wants to try something new — someday she might just dress up like a boy, sit on a bike, and go out for a ride.
