Indian actress Shefali Jariwala’s sudden death has shocked her fans and the showbiz world. She passed away at the age of 42.
According to initial reports, Shefali suffered a heart attack. Her husband Parag Tyagi quickly took her to Bellevue Multi-Specialty Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, but doctors could not save her.
Now, Indian media is reporting that her death might be linked to the use of an anti-aging injection, which she took after fasting (known as vrat).
A video statement from well-known dermatologist Dr. Eric Borges is going viral on social media. He explained that anti-aging injections can sometimes disturb the body’s electrolyte balance. This can lead to serious problems like low blood pressure and a drop in potassium levels.
The doctor also mentioned that Shefali was a smoker. He said that nicotine damages skin cells and can speed up the signs of aging. However, he added that the real cause of death will only be known after the post-mortem report.
Currently, everyone including her fans and fellow actors is waiting for the post-mortem results to confirm if the anti-aging injection was really the cause of her death.
