Bollywood queen Sridevi’s daughter, actress Janhvi Kapoor, has denied the viral rumours about her having cosmetic surgery. She said she has not gone through any procedure called “buccaloplasty.”
While talking on a talk show, Janhvi said that some YouTubers who call themselves doctors analysed her face and claimed she had the surgery. She added that this story is completely false.
Buccaloplasty, also known as a bullhorn lip lift, is a surgery that slightly reduces the space between the nose and upper lip to make the lips look naturally fuller.
Janhvi showed concern about such fake claims and said that these videos can have a bad effect on young girls. She explained that if a young girl believes such things and tries unsafe beauty methods, it could be very dangerous.
The actress said that people should have proper knowledge about beauty treatments so they do not get misled by social media and end up doing a surgery linked to some celebrity name.
