Actress Mehwish Hayat said she wants girls who watch and like her acting to see her as an ideal and take inspiration from her.
Mehwish recently appeared on a podcast where she spoke openly about different topics.
She said that she has done fewer projects but always chooses quality work, which has made her name and face memorable to people.
According to her, she usually works on only one project a year, but that one project is very good, so people always remember her work.
Mehwish said that she has always wanted to play challenging and difficult roles and that directors often prefer her for such roles.
She explained that whenever a difficult character is created in a film or drama, she is the first choice, and everyone looks to her for such roles.
She added that Pakistani dramas and films should focus on stories and roles for women, such as a female police officer, doctor, or lawyer, to inspire women to move forward.
In response to a question, she said she has not yet completed 20 years in the industry, but because of her good work, people feel she has been working for 20 years or more.
Mehwish said she has worked in showbiz for 12 to 15 years, but her quality work makes people think she has done a lot over many years.
She expressed hope that she will continue working in the industry for another 20 years and is confident that she will reach a very high position in two decades.
During the conversation, Mehwish emphasized that she always tries to do good work because she wants girls who admire her to take inspiration from her.
