Actress and TV host Mishi Khan reacted strongly to Saba Qamar’s statement about Karachi and said she did not like what the actress said. Recently, Saba Qamar appeared on a Green Entertainment podcast where she talked about her favorite city and where she likes to live.
When asked if she ever thought about moving to Karachi she quickly said Astaghfirullah and replied that she only goes to Karachi for work and returns to Islamabad once her work is done.
She said she prefers living in open spaces instead of apartments and that might be the reason she does not like Karachi because it mostly has apartments.
Her comment about Karachi went viral on social media and some users criticized her.
In a video shared on Instagram Mishi Khan said she did not like Saba Qamar’s words at all.
Mishi said Karachi is her hometown and it is the city that helped many Lahore-based artists gain fame respect and money and made their talent known worldwide.
She said Saba Qamar has worked in dramas made by Karachi-based channels and even worked in India.
Mishi added that Mumbai also has problems like small houses and lack of fresh air but no Indian artist ever speaks negatively about their city.
She advised that artists should be careful with their words especially about cities that gave them fame and success.
She said that if Saba Qamar did not like Karachi she could have used some other polite words instead of saying Astaghfirullah.
Mishi ended by saying that all cities in Pakistan are good and no one should use negative words about any city.
