Famous film actor Mustafa Qureshi got injured while walking on Karachi’s damaged roads. His leg bone broke during the accident.
Mustafa Qureshi has worked in more than 700 films, and many of his dialogues are still popular today.
Talking about the incident, he said that after offering the Fajr prayer, he was taking his usual morning walk outside his house when his foot got stuck in a broken part of the road.
He added that his foot got trapped in a pothole, he fell hard, hit his head on the road, and broke his leg. He thanked Allah that his eyesight was not affected.
The actor expressed sadness over the poor condition of the city and said that may Allah give wisdom to the rulers to fix the city’s roads properly.
He also shared that he was planning to attend the launch event of Raza Rabbani’s new book that day but could not go because of the injury.
Doctors have advised the legendary actor to take complete rest for six weeks after applying a plaster. During this time, he will stay away from social activities.
Film stars and fans prayed for Mustafa Qureshi’s quick recovery and requested the Sindh government to repair the city’s broken roads so that such accidents do not happen again.
