According to Fiza, an old clip, which had been forgotten for a long time, was deliberately re-circulated. Fiza Ali said that there are many serious problems in Pakistan, but people paid more attention to why her ex-husband fainted during the divorce than to her divorce.
She said that divorce itself is painful, but in our society, women are specifically targeted after it. Fiza said that she had taken control of her life after the divorce, but old wounds were reopened, which forced her to defend herself.
She made it clear that no one has the right to make material out of the suffering of others.
