Petrol price hiked by Rs 55, Shafaat Ali’s important advice to the government

Reacting to the recent increase in petrol prices in Pakistan, renowned host and comedian Shafaat Ali criticized the government’s policies and also offered an alternative suggestion.

Shafaat Ali, while discussing the impact of rising inflation and fuel prices, said that in the current situation, the government should reconsider the office system.

In his message on social media, Shafaat Ali said that if the price of petrol has reached Rs 321 per liter, then a better solution is for the government to temporarily close offices and re-enact the ‘work from home’ policy introduced during the Corona pandemic so that people can get some relief from the cost of daily travel.

In his statement, he mentioned the problems of the common man and said that in this era of inflation, it is becoming difficult for low-income people to even run their daily lives.

According to him, if a person’s monthly salary is about forty thousand rupees, he is unable to meet the expenses incurred on petrol for his motorcycle, even if he spends his savings.

Shafaat Ali, while describing the sudden increase in the price of petrol by Rs 55 per liter as a very harsh step, said that such decisions directly burden the people. He expressed concern over the government’s economic policies and said that in such circumstances, it has become inevitable to take practical steps keeping in mind the public’s difficulties.
