Rabia Anam, the host of a private TV Ramadan broadcast, has openly reacted to an old statement made by senior actress Saba Faisal, saying that she did not like the actress’s opinion about her daughter-in-law at all.
A few months ago, while speaking on a morning show, Saba Faisal had said regarding the new bride that the daughter-in-law should inform her mother-in-law or nand before sleeping or resting at home. Her statement went viral on social media and many users also criticized it.
Recently, in an interview, Rabia Anam raised objections to the same statement without naming her. She said that in a program it was said that if the daughter-in-law wants to rest for some time, she should take permission from her mother-in-law, what is the need for it?
Rabia said that she herself is a daughter-in-law and her mother-in-law has never expected such a thing from her, nor does she think that anyone should explain such matters in their personal life.
He further said that every individual has the right to live their life in their own way and it is not right to promote such traditions. According to Rabia Anam, we often repeat such thoughts because we have been under the influence of Indian dramas and culture for years, although every society has its own values and we should speak thoughtfully.
On the other hand, Saba Faisal did not remain silent on Rabia Anam’s statement. She shared Rabia’s video clip on the social media platform Instagram and wrote that some people become part of such conversations just to prove themselves wise and get temporary attention.
He questioned why his statement was being given so much importance if it was so wrong.
Thus, a statement related to the relationship between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law has become the cause of a new debate on social media, where users are expressing their opinions on the stance of both personalities.
