Sadia Imam, a popular actress and host of the Pakistani drama industry, has narrated a painful incident regarding her daughter Merab’s illness.
Sadia Imam had moved to Germany after getting married in 2012, where her daughter Merab was born in 2014.
Recently, she appeared on Madiha Naqvi’s morning show, where she called her daughter’s illness a result of her own negligence. Sadia Imam said that Merab was born in August and the weather in Germany is very severe in September, October, November. I was advised to keep her warm, but I forgot that the house was already warm with the heater. I wrapped her up too much, which caused her to develop a fever.
She said that during this time, Merab had her first fit due to fever, which was my mistake. Thank God that Adnan came immediately and we took her to the hospital. She was foaming at the mouth. Doctors said that once this problem starts, it can happen again by the age of nine. The actress said that after this incident, Merab had four more fits and now she gets her annual check-ups.
Sadia Imam concluded the conversation by saying that this is the biggest lesson of her life and that parents should avoid being too careful in caring for their child as it can be harmful.
