Famous singer Sanam Marvi and the president of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Ahmad Shah have ended their dispute. Both cleared the misunderstandings and forgave each other.
A few days ago Sanam Marvi had sent a legal notice of 5 crore rupees to Ahmad Shah accusing him that on 10th August during a Sindh government program in Sukkur she was pushed inappropriate language was used against her and she was also threatened.
The singer demanded that he should apologize within a week otherwise face legal action.
Ahmad Shah rejected the allegations and said that he neither insulted her nor threatened her in any way. However with the intervention of provincial culture minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and writer Noor ul Huda Shah the matter has now been resolved between the two.
The culture minister shared a video on his Facebook page in which Ahmad Shah called Sanam Marvi his younger sister and daughter saying that they had a long standing relationship and the issue only arose due to a misunderstanding.
He admitted that the inappropriate behavior of his staff had hurt the singer but now all differences have been settled.
Sanam Marvi also gave a statement in Sindhi saying that according to the traditions of Sindh she has withdrawn all her allegations. She thanked Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and Noor ul Huda Shah for playing an important role in reconciliation and said that she is grateful to the people of Sindh.
