Sarmad Khoosat is an exceptional Pakistani filmmaker, actor, and producer. He has worked in the media sector for almost two decades. Sarmad Khoosat gained prominence with his popular comedy Shashlik. He has also appeared in several popular television dramas, including Dil Muhalle ki Haweli, Teri Raza, Baghi, Pardes, and others. The actor has directed or produced several blockbusters and classic films, including Humsafar, Manto, Shehr E Zaat, Akhri Station, Pani Jesa Piyar, and Zindagi Tamasha. The filmmaker also produced the picture Kamli, starring Saba Qamar, which was well-received by audiences.
The actor has recently become furious over an injustice that has been done to him. Sarmad Khoosat was slated to receive the presidential prize this year for his lengthy career in cinema and drama, but his name was deleted from the list of forthcoming achievers.
Sarmad shared it on Instagram, writing, “SITARA-I-IMTIAZ RANDOM FUN FACT | NEWS.” UPDATE: 4. My name has been removed from ‘the 14th August ’23 list’ of Presidential Awards, which everyone ‘officially’ and informally congratulated me on. Sorry, please return your Mubaraks. Bhaee, yeh mai nay khud tou nahii bana li this list. And, as far as I recall (from the year I received the PP), the list released on August 14th is the finalized list, unless the winner declines to accept the honor.”
