Bollywood’s King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, surprised his fans by saying that he does not give his children any advice about the film industry.
The actor, who became famous with movies like Darr and Baazigar and gained worldwide fame through Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, has now turned sixty.
During a special event on his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan openly talked about his children, Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan.
When asked if he gives them advice as they are entering the film industry, he smiled and said that he does not give any career advice, he only appreciates their work.
Explaining the reason, Shah Rukh said that creative people do not need much guidance because they find their own path.
He added that as a father with a 35-year career, if he tries to teach them something, they might feel they have to follow his advice just because he is their father.
He said he does not want them to feel that pressure and wants them to learn on their own.
Shah Rukh shared that his daughter Suhana is acting, while his son Aryan is writing and directing. They work independently, and he only gives his opinion when they ask for it.
He also revealed that sometimes he praises them and sometimes gives criticism, but he always ends by telling them to do what they feel is right.
