Dubai witnessed a grand fusion of fashion and showbiz as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the Global Style Icon Award at a ceremony held at the Dubai Mall. The award was presented on the closing day of the Dubai Mall Festival of Fashion, which marked a new milestone in the city’s fashion calendar.
The ceremony, which concluded the two-day fashion festival at the prestigious Armani Hotel in Dubai, was the first edition of the Dubai Mall Global Fashion Awards. Shah Rukh Khan received the main honour at the inaugural ceremony, which is being hailed as a major milestone for Dubai’s fashion industry.
