Pakistani actor Shamoon Abbasi has reacted to his daughter calling him an ‘absent father’. Shamoon Abbasi and actress Javeria Abbasi’s daughter Anzila Abbasi told in a podcast how her father was absent for most of her life.
In the podcast, she said that her mother played the role of both mother and father, which made her never miss her father.
After being called absent by her daughter, Shamoon Abbasi posted pictures taken with his daughter on Facebook on various occasions and captioned the post ‘The Absent Father’.
It should be noted that Shamoon Abbasi and Javeria Abbasi have never criticized each other. However, there were speculations of a rift between them over Shamoon Abbasi’s absence from Anzila’s wedding.
