Showbiz celebrities express grief over the Islamabad blast

Famous stars from the showbiz industry have expressed sorrow and sympathy for the victims of the suicide blast outside a police vehicle near the court in Islamabad’s G-11 area.

Yesterday a suicide attack took place outside the court in G-11 where a police van was targeted. Twelve people were martyred and thirty-eight were injured.

The attack happened at a time when major international events were taking place in Islamabad including the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers Conference and the sixth Margalla Dialogue. At the same time a cricket match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka was being played in Rawalpindi.

People across the country are deeply saddened by the incident and celebrities have also shared their grief and anger.

Actor Adnan Siddiqui wrote on Instagram that peace will always win over violence.

Singer Talha Anjum supported Pakistan’s fight against terrorism and said extremists cannot be reformed they must be eliminated.

Singer and actor Farhan Saeed showed solidarity with the victims prayed for peace and a prosperous future for Pakistan and expressed sorrow over the lives lost in the attack.

Actor Usman Khalid Butt prayed for the martyrs and also prayed for the safety of all the people of the country.

Actor Bilal Ashraf expressed sorrow and wrote that his heart prays for everyone affected by this tragedy.
